Concept Racing recently carried out work on a beautiful Porsche 962. The air system required the fabrication and installation of new intercoolers using aerospace quality cores, completion of original plenums and connection to the intercoolers. The water system required all plumbing / pipework to be fabricated and installed as well as the replacing one radiator.

Hill climb fuel tank
Hill climb fuel tank with integral swirl / collector pot.
Monza Cap within Splash Bowl.
This aluminium fuel tank was fitted with foam filled and fitted with a roll over valve to meet race regulations. The Monza cap was surrounded by a splash bowl but protruded outside the car bodywork. Race regulation stipulate that there must be a one way valve between the tank and the filler in such cases, therefore a screw cap was added under the monza cap and bodywork to meet this regulation. The fuel tank was also fitted with a fuel collector internally as there was no space for a sump. The fuel collector has one way valves to allow fuel in but not out and help to eliminate fuel surge without the use of a swirl pot.
